PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically measure the inner/outer peripheries of a pipe at the entire periphery stably without many man-hours and errors by measuring an outer diameter by projecting and receiving light by a photosensor while turning around the pipe in a peripheral direction and at the same time measuring an inner diameter while rotating the pipe with the central axis of the pipe as a rotary axis. SOLUTION: While a rotary machine mechanism body 23 of an outer diameter- measuring device 20 is being rotated by a drive motor 25, parallel light A being emitted toward a pipe 15 from a projector 21 is received by a light receiver 22 excluding a part that is screened by the pipe 15. An outer diameter is calculated by an operation control part according to the number of photodetectors that cannot receive the parallel light. The pipe 15 is inserted into inner-diameter measuring equipment 31 of an inner- diameter measuring device 30, a carrier conveyor 10 is driven up to the inner-diameter measurement position for carrying the pipe 15, then a roller 32 for measuring inner diameter is pressed against the outer periphery of the pipe, a measuring probe traveling axis is rotated for allowing a cone for measurement travel to advance into the pipe, and the amount of travel until the measuring probe touches the inner periphery of the pipe is calculated to obtain the inner diameter of the pipe.
