<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a puling eye for an optical cable relieving laying restriction in a thin diameter pipeline and causing no deterioration in a waterproof effect by constituting so as to cover up to a part of a fixture by softening and extending a sheath of the optical cable by heat so that the pulling eye becomes equal to or less than the optical cable in diameter. SOLUTION: A tip part sheath of an optical cable 1 is removed, and a tension member 2 is bared so that a tip part of this tension member 2 is fitted and fixed to a fixture 3. The tip part of this fixture 3 operates as an eye nut. Next, a large step difference generated by a connecting part of the fixture 3 and the optical cable 1 is molded in a taper shape. This work is performed by applying heat so that the sheath softens since the step difference is generated by the sheath of the optical cable 1. In that case, the softened sheath covers up to a part of the fixing tool 3. Afterwards, a tape 4 is sufficiently wound up to the tip part root of the fixture 3 from a sheath part of the optical cable 1 formed in a taper shape to constitute a pulling eye.</p> |
