PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of difference data of a background image by informing an opposite terminal about a segmented position of a displayed image as position data with respect to the background image. SOLUTION: In this image transmission system, an image of a 1st frame in an image picked-up by an image pickup section 1 is given to a blur correction section 2, an image coding section 3 encodes an entire picked-up image, and the coded image is sent to a communication processing section via a demultiplexer section 4. An opposite terminal extracts data via the demultiplexer section 4 from received data, and gives the extracted data to an image display control section 7. The image display control section 7 segments an image position to be displayed on a display section 5 from data in an image memory section 6 on the basis of an obtained moving amount and moving direction and allows the display section 5 to display the segmented data. The motion of the object adopts data of a moving amount and direction as a motion of an entire displayed range including a background image and it is enough to have only to transmit only a background image behind the object to an opposite terminal as difference data. |
