PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To humidify, while diffusing the odor component or the effective components of a medicine from a herb. SOLUTION: In a humidifier for storing supplied water, heating it by a heater and discharging steam thus generated outside through a steam passage 9, a herb chamber 41 for housing herbs 44 is provided in a part of the steam passage 9 for discharging the steam. The herb chamber 41 communicates with the steam passage 9 to branch and to introduce a part of the discharged steam, and exhausts the steam outside. Outside air introducing ports 31b and 33b are provided at a plurality of parts on the upstream side of the herb chamber 41 of the steam passage 9. |
