PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain reducing/decomposing reaction of a solvent, and to improve the service life of a battery by constituting an electrolytic solution of a nonaqueous solvent including an aluminum tris (2,4-pentanedionate) derivative and an electrolyte. SOLUTION: This nonaqueous electrolyte for a secondary battery includes an aluminum tris (2,4-pentanedionate) derivative of formula I (R1 to R9 each represent H, an alkyl group of 1-10C, an aryl group or 1-10C organic group having a carbonyl group and/or an oxy group) by 0.01 to 5 wt.% to the whole nonaqueous solvent, and includes one or more kinds of cyclic carbonic ester and/or chain carbonic ester of formula II, formula III (R10 to R13 each represent H or a 1-6C alkyl group). R1 to R9 are desirably H, a methyl group, an ethyl group or a phenyl group. The mixing ratio of the cyclic carbonic ester such as ethylene carbonate and propylene carbonate to the chain carbonic ester such as dimethyl carbonate and diethyl carbonate is suitably (15:85 to 55:45) in the weight ratio. |
