PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To analyze the switching characteristic of an IC by providing an initialization means which analyzes the current flowing to the IC when the power voltage is applied to the IC and initializes a circuit analysis means according to the analyzed current. SOLUTION: The current, etc., flowing to an IC when the normal power voltage is applied to the IC is analyzed, and an SPICE(simulation program with integrated circuit emphasis) 18 is initialized according to the analyzed current. Under such conditions, an initial state setting part sets a state where the normal power voltage is applied to the IC as an initial state of the circuit analysis carried out by an SPICE 12. Thus, the current flowing to the IC and all internal currents and voltage of a circuit are analyzed. A control program 21 initializes the SPICE 18 on the basis of the current flowing to the IC when the normal power voltage is applied to the IC and also all internal currents and voltage of the circuit, i.e., the final state of the preceding analysis.
