PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive automatic focus adjustment device with high focusing precision even under an artificial light source. SOLUTION: Subject images are imaged by a pair of imaging optical systems arranged with photometric circuits 66 and remote-control receiving parts 65 in respective imaging faces. Focus adjustment information for a photographing lens is output based on a positional relation between the subject images imaged on the circuits 66 and the receiving parts 65 respectively. The photographing lens is driven by a motor driving circuit 69 and a motor 68 based on the focusing information. The focus adjustment information is corrected by a CPU 50, in response to respective photometric values in a visible-light photometric circuit inside the photometric circuit 66 and an infra-red photometric circuit inside the receiving part 65 having main sensitivities respectively in a visible light region and an infra-red region of a subject beam. |
