PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk, which is surely and quickly accessed at the time or reproducing information recorded with a high density by improving the precision of control of the rotational frequency of the disk in an optical disk recording and reproducing device, and to provide the method for producing an optical disk master plate capable of mass-producing the optical disk. SOLUTION: With respect to the optical disk where a spiral group to record and reproduce information on a disk substrate is wobbled in the radial direction and has prepits which record preformat information in a land, an arbitrary angular position on the disk is taken as a reference position, and the angular position of the optical disk where the phase of wobble of the (n+1)th track from the reference position is made coincide with that of the n-th track and that of a turntable 14 on which an optical disk master plate 13 for photo resist film forming are detected, and a signal generation source switches the phase of wobble signal on the basis of detection values. |
