PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video display device capable of selecting one from among plural various raster dimensions. SOLUTION: A decoder 41 decodes a digital encoded signal related to a deflection amplitude and generates one of plural signals, in response to information contained in the signal. Control transistors 32 and 33 control a horizontal deflection current, in response to a DC bias level and in response to a vertical speed parabolic signal for correcting horizontal deflection distortion. The DC bias level is changed, in response to one of plural signals, and a raster width is determined by current branches 56, 62, 57 and 63. A raster height is changed by changing a feedback signal to be supplied to a circuit for generating a vertical deflection current, in response to one of plural signals. |
