<p>A four sided table or table top (10) is provided that is used to play games in which the status of play of the game is important. The table or table top includes a playing surface in the middle (12) and has a series of lights and switches or buttons (26, 28, 38, 40) which are located in a relatively narrow strip along each of the edges of the table. Each of these strips along the edge of the table includes five lights: a starter light, an east light, a south light, a west light and a north light (30, 32, 34, 36). A forward switch (40) can be toggled to cause an illuminated light on one side of the table to be dimmed and for a light on an adjacent side of the table to be illuminated. The illuminated light (30, 32, 34, 36) indicates game status information, such as who has the 'Head of the Game' title and what round of the game is currently being played. The resulting function of these components acts to provide verification to players regarding the current status of the game.</p> |
