COVER FOR AN AIRBAG MODULE

The invention relates to a cover for an airbag module. Said cover consists of a decorative material (2), preferably fabric, leather or leatherette that is provided with a plastic base structure (1). Said base structure defines at least one cover area (3) for the airbag which area is delimited by a brake line (4) and a bend line (5). Said brake line (4) is formed by edges (6) of the base structure (1) that are open towards the inside. The decorative material (2) is configured as a doubling (8) that closes the slit-shaped opening (7) between the edges (6) of the base structure (1).
