The nozzle is normally axisymmetrical, with a convergent nozzle (3) having cam operated movable short nozzle flaps hinged at their leading edges and with cam surfaces (8) on their outsides. Roller cams (9) are used, which are mounted in housings (10) moved by actuators. Further elongated movable flaps have their leading edges hinged to the trailing edges of the first nozzle flaps.
