PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable one worker to easily perform a leak inspection only of an objective filter unit. SOLUTION: In the filter unit, a filter 7 is mounted in a box 5 having a duct 5 connected to the upstream portion thereof and having a blowoff port 5a provided thereto on the downstream side thereof. A smoke generating piping 10 having a connector 10b capable of attaching and detaching a smoke generator 12 provided to its end part on the side of the blowoff port and having an ejection port 10a provided to the other end part so as to be opened to the duct 3 on the upstream side of the filter 7 and a suction piping 11 having a connector 11b capable of attaching and detaching a measuring instrument 13 provided to its end part on the side of the blowoff port and having a suction port 11a provided to the other end thereof so as to be opened on the upstream side of the filter 7 are provided to the box 5.
