PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective cold insulation for a cake by a method wherein corner housing parts are formed vertically at the inside of corner parts of a cover. SOLUTION: A cover 4 is formed in a box shape with its underside opened, and corner housing parts are formed vertically at inner corner parts of the cover 4. Each of the corner housing parts 5 is formed in a bottomed tubular shape having a triangular cross section with its upper part opened for forming an upper insertion port 5b. A plurality of cold air pores facing the inside of the case are formed at each of the corner housing parts while a cross-shaped incision is formed at the bottom of each of the corner housing parts 5. A space is formed between each of the upper insertion ports 5b of the corner housing parts 5 and the upside of the cover 4, and the structure is so constructed that a cold insulation sheet 6 can be inserted into the corner housing part 5 from it upper insertion port 5b through the space. The cold insulation sheet is formed in a belt-like shape comprising a plurality of subdivision packs with at least one side thereof being formed of a breathable film, and a matter made up of a water-absorptive resin with water absorbed beforehand therein and cooled in a refrigerator is enclosed in each of the subdivision packs.
