PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflectable tip electrode catheter, which is provided with a convenient handle in terms of human engineering. SOLUTION: The deflectable catheter is constituted of a catheter main body part 12, a tip part 14 and the control handle 16 for deflecting the tip part. The tip part is constituted of a base end part, a tip end part and a flexible tube having at least two inner hole parts, which penetrates the both parts. The base end part of the tip part is fixed to the tip end part of the catheter main body part. The flexible tube is constituted of a plastic core, a metallic blade on the core, a plastic film on the blade and at least two plastic tube pieces which are extruded onto the plastic film and are arranged in a longitudinal direction. The two plastic tube pieces are provided with different rigidities and the plastic tube piece having the max. rigidity is arranged nearer to a base end side than the plastic tube piece having the min. rigidity. |
