PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make members for a toilet such as a toilet bowl have the antibacterial action and deodorizing action against offensive smell and give warm touch feeling as a natural material to a user. SOLUTION: Two mesh boards 51 made of Thujopsis dolabrate (Japanese cypress) are affixed together by interposing a nonwoven fabric soaked in an adhesive to make a toilet lid 5, a member for a toilet. The mesh board 51 is made of narrow thin boards 511, 512, whose grain direction is in the direction almost parallel to the longitudinal direction, woven up to form checkered patterns on the surface. A seat 6 has a mesh board 61 on the upper surface. A nonwoven fabric is bonded to the rear surface of the mesh board 61, which is fitted on the seat substrate. A mat 7 has also a mesh board 71 on the upper surface. The mesh board 71 is bonded to a fabric by means of a nonwoven fabric.
