PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance machining efficiency of nozzle part by forming a nozzle longer than required length when the ink chamber wall is formed by injection molding and then grinding the nozzle to an arbitrary length so that the nozzle parts can be bored collectively in a head manufactured by resin molding. SOLUTION: The die for injection molding a head comprises a lower die 21 arranged with a parts 1a, 2a, 5a, 7a for forming a nozzle, an ink chamber, an ink supply passage and a restrictor, respectively. The die 1a for forming the nozzle is set longer than a desired length of the nozzle part. Resin is then poured between the upper and lower dies 20, 21 thus injection molding the ink chamber part. Even if the nozzle height fluctuates during injection molding, it can be flattened during grinding process. Machining efficiency is enhanced by avoiding the difficult part of die process for manufacturing the fine nozzle 1b of an ink jet head.
