PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple type superior limb training device by which a patient who is functionally disabled in a superior limb easily executes training with a sense of game playing. SOLUTION: The device 10 is provided with a superior limb hanging support device 14 which supports the superior limb 12 in a hanging state and which is movable in accordance with the will of the patient M, a computer for recording a target orbit K in a storage device through the use of a key input device and a spherical shape target object 16 which is driven by a driving device with an I/O interface based on the command of the computer to move on the target orbit. The patient executes rehabilitation training by following the target object 16 and moving the superior limb 12 supported by the device 14. Therefore, the target object 16 moving on the target orbit K is indicated so that the patient visually recognizes the training orbit and movement speed of the superior limb 12. Besides, his or her will to execute training is called by a game playing feeling to follow the target object 16 so that an intension to continue training is enhanced. |
