<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device not requiring elastic barricades or contact plates abutting or separating from each other by arranging a plurality of expandable link rods in the same direction on the outside of the awning of a connection section, fitting both ends to the end faces of opposite vehicles via universal joints, and supporting a vertically long barricade with parallel links at two upper and lower points. SOLUTION: Universal joints 7 at the tips of rods 5 of expandable link rods L are removably fixed to the end face 1 of a vehicle A by metal fixtures 8, universal joints 6 on the cylinder head side of cylinders 4 are fixed to the end face 2 of a vehicle B by screws, and a pair of upper and lower expandable link rods L are fitted. A hang bolt is fitted and fixed to the cylinder 4 at the middle position of the link rod L to rotatably connect one end of a barricade 3. The gap with the end edge of a platform 9 at the connection section of the vehicles A, B can be reduced by the barricade 3 supported by parallel links at two upper and lower points.</p> |
