PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress vibration and noise and to reduce the cost by providing an elastic body suppressing at least one of the relative movement between an output shaft and bearings, the relative movement between an outer ring and an inner ring, and the relative movement between a housing and the bearings. SOLUTION: In this electric power steering device, an output shaft 3 transmits the rotating output from a housing 1 and an electric motor, and bearings 14, 15 are constituted of at least an outer ring and an inner ring rotatably supporting the output shaft 3 on the housing 1. An elastic body 20 suppresses at least one of the relative movement between the output shaft 3 and the bearings 14, 15, the relative movement between the outer ring and the inner ring, and the relative movement between the housing 1 and the bearings 14, 15 by applying elastic force to the bearings 14, 15 from the output shaft 3. The vibration of the output shaft 3 is suppressed by the suppressing function of the elastic body 20, and the tooth tapping noise of a gear reduction mechanism connecting the electric motor and the output shaft 3 for power transmission can be reduced. |
