PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to facilitate the erection of barrier flaps and to prevent the leakage of excreta. SOLUTION: This wearing article has both side edges 1a extending in a longitudinal direction and both end edges 1b extending in a transverse direction and a pair of the barrier flaps 5 which position at the both side edges 1a extend in a longitudinal direction and have upward erectability. The flaps 5 have first side parts 5a existing on the side on the front surface of the members, second side parts 5b existing on the side of the rear surface of the member and front and rear ends 5c existing at both end edges 1b of the members. The second side parts 5b form non-fixed side parts which are bent in the bending parts extending in the longitudinal direction and extend inward in the transverse direction of the member and fixed side parts which extend outward in the transverse direction of the members. The surfaces facing the members on the fixing side part are fixed to the rear surface of both side edges 1a of the members and the front and rear ends 5c are turned down inward in the transverse direction of the members and are fixed to the front surfaces of both side edges 1b of the members. |
