PURPOSE: An apparatus for evaluating vehicle driving is provided to precisely examine reasons of accidents, and help drivers to drive more appropriately for preventing traffic accidents in advance. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for evaluating vehicle driving includes an accelerometer(101) for measuring an acceleration of a vehicle, first and second amplifiers(102,103) for respectively amplifying X,Y accelerations obtained by the accelerometer to a predetermined level, an A/D converter(104) for converting X,Y accelerations obtained by the amplifiers into digital signals, a high speed microcomputer(105) for comparing and analyzing velocity data obtained by a speedometer of the vehicle with the accelerations obtained by the A/D converter for extracting driving data of a sudden acceleration, a sudden braking, and a sudden turning, a power supply part(106) for supplying driving power to each element by using a battery power of the vehicle, a timer(108) for supplying a current time data, a switch(111) for discriminating detachment of the testing apparatus, and a microcomputer(109) for storing all data obtained by the above component elements to an EEPROM(110).
