PURPOSE: A device for sensing jamming of a lead frame strip is provided to prevent a lead frame strip to want to discharge from being damaged by sensing a jamming state according to the discharge of the lead frame strip supplied to an index table. CONSTITUTION: The device includes a frame(11), a first material(12), an ascent and descent unit, a second material(14), an elastic material and a sensor(16). The first material is installed so that the frame is capable of rotating. The ascent and descent unit is installed to the frame to ascend and descend the first material and consists an electromagnet installed to the frame and a magnetizing material installed to the first material. The second material is combined to the upper of the first material by a hinge so that the rotation is possible and has a push portion at the ending portion. The elastic material is installed between the first and second materials and supplies a repulsive force according to the rotation of the second material to the first material. The sensor is installed on the position opposite to the ending portion of the second material and generates a signal informing a jamming state when is contacted to the ending portion of the second material.
