PURPOSE: A power saving type TV is provided to turn on a power of a signal field, and to turn off a power of a deflection field when an inputted signal does not exist. Therefore, it is possible to reduce power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A signal field(50) receives a received signal, and detects horizontal/vertical synchronous signals to perform an image process. A deflection field(60) receives the signals from the signal field(50), and drives a CPT(Color Picture TV) to control a screen. A signal field power supplier(70) supplies a power necessary for the signal field(50). A deflection field power supplier(80) supplies a power necessary for the deflection field(60). A microcomputer(90) selectively controls the signal field power supplier(70) and the deflection field power supplier(80).
