PURPOSE: A far eastern language process system and method is provided to minimize a system performance deterioration under a Windows OS environment by erasing IME in the conventional system and connecting directly keyboard driver to an automata. CONSTITUTION: A far eastern language process system comprises a keyboard driver(200), an input processor(202), an automata(204), and a display(206). The keyboard driver(200) converts a scan key into a virtual key if a key stroke occurs at a keyboard, and outputs the virtual key value to the input processor(202). The input processor(202) calls a conversion of the virtual key value into a unicode to the keyboard driver(200). Then, the keyboard driver(200) determines if the virtual key value is a far eastern language, and converts the virtual key into the unicode by using the automata(204). The automata(204) combines a character corresponding to the virtual key, and send it to the keyboard driver(200). The keyboard driver(200) sends the combined character to the input processor(202), and after an analysis process in the input processor(202), to the display(206).
