PURPOSE: A method for limiting system access against an illegal mobile terminal in a cellular system is provided to enable a mobile terminal to access a system when all mobile identifiers comprised in a transferred message are identical to own MID, by comprising various mobile identifiers in a message for limiting a system access of an illegal mobile terminal. CONSTITUTION: A method for limiting system access against an illegal mobile terminal in a cellular system comprises transferring a system access message including own peculiar mobile identifiers into a base station(s110). In a step(s120), the base station stores the mobile identifiers of the mobile terminal comprised in the system access message. Whether the mobile terminal of sending the system access message is an illegal mobile terminal, is judged(s130). If the mobile terminal is not the illegal mobile terminal, the base station allows a system access against the mobile terminal(s140). If the mobile terminal is the illegal mobile terminal, an access limited message, which comprises all mobile identifiers of the stored mobile terminal, is sent to the mobile terminal(s150). The mobile terminal receives the access limited message, and compares own mobile identifiers with the mobile identifiers in the message, respectively(s160). If identical, a system access is limited(s170).
