PURPOSE: An optical filter of a wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) is provided to minimize an optical loss generated at a reflection mirror surface compared to a solid-state ethanol filter and to form a thin medium. CONSTITUTION: An optical filter of a wavelength division multiplexing(WDM) includes a medium formed of Si or GaAs the crystal direction of which is vertical based on a GaAs substrate. The medium has a given thickness(d) and a given reflectivity. The first reflection face is formed at one side of the medium and reflects the light. The second reflection face(110') is formed at an opposite surface of the first reflection face in the medium and reflects the light.
