PURPOSE: Traveling method and device, and a noise bar eliminating device thereof are provided to correct a difference in traveling angles of a video head and a tape through converting a rotation angle and speed of a drum. CONSTITUTION: In case of input of a right directional high search mode, an rpm(revolutions per minute) of a tape is decided at a specific speed. Moreover, an rpm of a drum is increased for identifying an angle of a composite vector of tape an rpm and a drum rpm with an angle of the composite vector at a normal reproducing mode. Herein, a drum rotational angle converting process is performed for identifying angles of composite vectors at high and normal modes. Moreover, envelope of a frequency modulated signal is compared for maintaining maximum state of amplitude of the modulated signal.
