PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the durability of the rotation control mechanism of a fully automatic washing machine and to improve the ease of assembly. SOLUTION: The fully automatic washing machine comprises a washing/ dehydrating tub 1 for washing-cum-dehydration, an agitating wing 2 rotatably arranged in the washing/dehydration tub 1 to be driven to rotate by a motor, a first transmission system A to transmit the motive force of the motor to the agitating wing 2, a second transmission system B to transmit the motive force of the motor to the washing/dehydration tub 1, and a switching means Y to cut off the second transmission system B at the time of washing and to connect the second transmission system B at the time of dehydration. In the fully automatic washing machine, the second transmission system B is provided with a two-way clutch 20 to lock the rotation of a second transmission shaft 8 in both normal and reverse directions at the time of washing and to free the rotation of the second transmission shaft 8 at the time of dehydration. In addition, the switching means Y is constituted of a roller clutch 40 of which rotation is freed in both normal and reverse directions at washing and is locked at the time of dehydration.
