DISC COLLECTION FOR A SMALL SIZE DISC CARTRIDGE

PURPOSE: A small sized cartridge for storing disks is provided to improve compatibility of the cartridge through opening a shutter of the cartridge in front and rear directions and switching a display unit according to installed location of an optical pickup. CONSTITUTION: A shutter(48) is installed on a front side of upper and lower plates(42,44) of a small sized cartridge for being opened and closed toward two directions. Thus, the shutter exposes a data area of a disk to an optical pickup. A slide groove is formed on a front surface of the cartridge to guide movement of the shutter in two directions. A direction recognize unit is coupled to an upper surface of the upper place for detecting direction of a transfer path of the optical pickup. Thus, an insertion direction of the cartridge is variably displayed.
