METHOD OF ALLOCATING TRANSMISSION TIME SLOTS IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS

PURPOSE: A data communication method between a base station and mobile terminals in the mobile communication system is provided to improve the efficiency of frequency by varying down-link or up-link slot arrangements corresponding to the transferred data. CONSTITUTION: The first section transfers pilot signal to more than one down-links slots(D1,D2) or random access signal to more than one up-link slots(U1,U2). The second section varies the arrangement of the down-link slots(D1,D2) or up-link slots(U1,U2) depending on the characteristics of the transferred signals. Data communication is carried out in two directions using the macro time slot(20) comprising the first and second sections.
