GROUPS OF GENES EXPRESSED IN HUMAN DENDRITIC CELLS

A group of genes consisting of 100 genes which are highly expressed in human dendritic cells; a group of genes which are expressed at a higher frequency in human dendritic cells than in human monocytes; and a group of genes which ar e expressed at a lower frequency in human dendritic cells than in human monocytes. The group of genes consisting of 100 genes which are most frequently expressed in human dendritic cells are characterized in that cDNA s of these genes respectively have the base sequences of SEQ ID NOS: 1 to 100 each in continuous with the base sequence 5'-CATG-3' located most closely to the poly-A region. A group of the cDNAs of the genes constituting each of th e above groups; novel genes involved in these gene groups; and a group of oligonucleotide for specifying these genes and cDNAs.
