<p>A system and method for transmitting digital data that is simultaneously supplied to several users from a transmitter with a screen. Descriptive attributes (40) are divided into a short module (42) and a long module (41) for each event comprising said attributes. When the user initiates a program guide consultation, the list of events and corresponding short modules (42) only are initially transferred. The long modules (41) corresponding to the events displayed on the screen and/or the short modules on neighbouring screens are transferred simultaneously in masked out time while the user selects a specific event.</p> |
