MATERIAL FOR FORMING RESIN SUITABLE FOR CUTTING, MOLDED RESIN PRODUCT AS RAW MATERIAL FOR MODEL, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MODEL

A material for forming a resin suitable for cutting which comprises (A) a resin capable of being used in cutting or a precursor thereof and (B) microcapsules composed of (a) a liquid core material and (b) a membrane material forming a wall and contains (B) in an amount of 0.5 to 90 part by weight per 100 parts by weight of (A); and a molded resin product as a raw material for a model which is obtained by melting and then solidifying the material or by simultaneously curing and molding it. The material and the molded resin product are reduced in the quantity of dust swirling in the air during cutting and also reduced in the degree of decrease of strength from that of the original resin.
