The invention relates to a magnetic flux sensor comprising a loop-shaped magnetic field conductor (c) and a sensor which is configured notably as a DC-SQUID (d) and able to register a magnetic flow in the magnetic field conductor. The magnetic field conductor is preferably a highly permeable foil or very thin film. The advantageous magnetization factor results in high measurement sensitivity. The use of a foil or thin film as magnetic field conductor results in easy handling (high availability and flexibility, easy to structure) and reduces eddy currents. Advantageous embodiments of the invention permit the use of SQUIDs without holes and shields to protect against external magnetic interference fields.
