Uniformly grafted olefinic polymeric material in the form of particles

A uniformly grafted particulate olefin polymer material is claimed. It is formed by the free radical-initiated graft polymerisation of a vinyl monomer(s) at free radical sites on an as-polymerised particulate olefin polymer material having (a) a pore volume fraction of at least 0.07, where more than 40% of the pores having a dia. larger than 1 micron; b) a surface area of at least 0.1m2 1g; and c) at wt. ave dia of 0.4-7mm. Also claimed is the mfr. of the above graft copolymer.
