PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coil hoisting tool being miniaturized and lightened, and also causing no clawed cut or pressed scratch due to sliding a locking claw in hoisting a coil. SOLUTION: This coil hoisting tool is composed of supporting metal fitting 12 suspened by a crane hook 11, an air cylinder 17 suspendedly provided on the fitting 12, hooklike locking claws 21 linked to the fitting 12 by parallel links 19, a guide 18 guided by a guide rod 16 through the cylinder 17, and parallel links 22 for linking between one side arm 19a out of the parallel links 19 composed of a pair of parallel arms 19a and 19b and the guide 18, and constituting a toggle joint mechanism. Consequently the claws 21 move parallelly while drawing a fixed locus, to hoist a coil 24 while maintaining a fixed tilt.
