PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink jet printer, smoothly transferring cloth. SOLUTION: This ink jet printer discharges recording droplets from the recording head onto cloth moving at the position facing the recording head to print images thereon, wherein jigs with films serving as the main parts are provided to hold both ends of the cloth toward the direction of the movement.
