PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection device of an engine, equipped with a fuel pump to perform suction and discharge of the fuel with reciprocation of a piston driven by the engine and controlling the actual fuel pressure to the target value by controlling the discharge amount of the fuel pump, whereby accurate controllability of the fuel pressure is established by removing the influence of pulsation on the actual fuel pressure. SOLUTION: The weight according to the weighted averaging process is set in compliance with the engine revolving speed (S22 and S23), and the sensing value by a fuel pressure sensor (S21) is subjected to weighted averaging with the set weight (S24). The deviation of the weighted averaging value from the target fuel pressure value is determined, and the discharge amount of the fuel pump is corrected with the feedback control amount calculated according to the deviation. |
