<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating device for kitchen wastewater which is capable of adjusting and maintaining the water temperature in the treating device within a specified adequate range and, is consequently capable of assuring always a stable and good treatment capability and treatment water quality, can make the capacity over the entire part of the treating device including an anaerobic digestion tank compact and is advantageous in terms of cost by providing the anaerobic digestion tank with a temperature controller and to provide a treating method for the kitchen wastewater. SOLUTION: This treating device for the kitchen wastewater consists of a grit chamber 1 for separating the inorganic solids in the solids included in the kitchen wastewater, the anaerobic digestion tank 2 for treating the kitchen wastewater from which the inorganic solids are removed, a settling tank 3 for separating the internal liquid in the anaerobic digestion tank 2 to concentrated organic solids, sludge and separated wastewater and a wastewater treating vessel 4 for anaerobic biological treatment of the separated wastewater. The anaerobic digestion tank 2 is provided with an intra-tank agitating device (air diffuser) 21 and the temperature controller 22. The water temperature of the anaerobic digestion tank 2 is maintained at 10 to 40 deg.C by the temperature controller 22 of the treating device described above.</p> |
