PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the mounting workability by forming a rib in the middle part of an oil capillary in a compression element comprising the oil capillary mounted on a cylinder head and press-fitting and fixing the straight pipe part of the oil capillary located on the lower side from the rib to a communication part provided on the cylinder head. SOLUTION: A sealed electric compressor has a compression element 2 elastically supported within a sealed vessel 1, which is driven by an electric element 3. The compression element 2 is formed of a piston fitted into a cylinder, and comprises an oil capillary 6 mounted on a cylinder head 4. A rib 9 swollen to the outside is formed in the middle part of the oil capillary 6, and the straight pipe part of the oil capillary 6 located on the lower side from the rib 9 is press-fitted and fixed to a communication part 4a provided on the cylinder head 4 to allow one end thereof to communicate with the inlet space of the cylinder head 4, and the other end is extended into lubricating oil 5. According to this, the lubricating oil 5 can be sucked during operation and supplied to the compression element 2 to lubricate it.
