PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To indicate a failure and to provide operating information on a washing toilet seat by providing a hot water washing toilet seat which can transmit information in a one chip microcomputer for controlling the hot water washing toilet seat to outside equipment, and a device which can receive the information and indicate the same. SOLUTION: When a failure occurs at a hot water washing toilet seat, most pieces of information is stored in a RAM and an EEPROM. Then, a hot water washing toilet seat 1 which can read and externally transmit the information stored in the RAM and the EEPROM, is provided, and a device 2 which can receive and indicate the information from the toilet seat 1 is connected to the toilet seat 1, thereby searching for a reason of the failure, based on values of the RAM and the EEPROM. Further, a device 4 which can transmit a command for reading-out/writing the information in the RAM and the EEPROM and receive the information from the toilet seat, and a toilet seat 3 for receiving and executing the command from the device 4 are connected to each other, and an arbitrary address is read and written, thereby recreating a failure circumstance. Thus, a response to the failure and measures against the recurrence of the failure can be quickly performed.
