PURPOSE:To increase the code conversion speed at the time of converting an integer, a decimal, or binary data with the sign converted to BCD to code data (ASCII code or the like). CONSTITUTION:A binary-decimal conversion device 1 converts binary data to BCD with the sign to output it. The sign of BCD is discriminated by a sign flag 3 and a sign discriminating device 4. A code generator 7 generates code information and the negative sign code, which should be added to convert BCD to the ASCII code, and a completion code indicating the end of a converted ACSII code string. A code data generator 6 outputs code data from the code generator 7 only when the sign discriminating device 4 discriminates the negative sign, and code information is added to BCD from a decimal data register 2, and the completion code is added to the end, and it is outputted to a data register 8. |
