PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the illuminating effect of an illuminating light without reducing the operability of a night cover in a low-temperature showcase in which the illuminating light and the night cover are mounted in a storage portion in the upper portion of the front face of a display chamber. SOLUTION: This low-temperature showcase has a display chamber 8 open on its front face and a storage portion 38 is constructed in the upper portion of the opening in the display chamber. An illuminating light 37 and a night cover 36 for closing the opening are mounted in the storage portion. The storage portion has an opening in its bottom and the night cover is positioned in the rear upper portion of the inside of the night cover. The illuminating light is positioned in front of and below the night cover and the grip of the night cover is pulled out and held in the opening in the storage portion.
