PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cleaning and deodorizing agent excellent in detergency and deodorizing property. SOLUTION: This cleaning and deodorizing agent includes (a) 0.1-90 wt.% of surfactant having a 8-20C alkyl or alkenyl group in the molecule and (b) 0.001-1.0 wt.% of two or more kind of fragrance selected from cineol, camphor, pinene, limonene, linalool, linalool acetate, nerol or the like. A mixture of 10 wt.% aqueous solution of this agent and 1 wt.% of aqueous solution of ammonia in the mixing ratio (weight ratio) of 50:1 manifests pH 7.0-9.2 at 25 deg.C, and the mixture of 10 wt.% aqueous solution of this agent and 5 wt.% of aqueous solution of acetic acid in the mixing ratio (weight ratio) of 50:1 manifests pH 4.8-7.0 at 25 deg.C.
