PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide smooth and secure operation by reducing thickness, increasing an IC card take-out force at an initial stage, and increasing an IC card discharging amount on the way. SOLUTION: This connector for an IC card comprises a housing 11, into which a pin terminal 12 is press-fitted, a frame 13 fixed to the housing 11, and a discharging lever 15 supported by the frame 13. A flat plate 13a of the frame 13 is provided with disposing holes 13c, 13d and a connecting portion 13e recessed in the thickness direction. A raising portion 15d projecting in a thickness direction is formed at the center of the discharging lever 15. The discharging lever 15 is inserted through one of the disposing holes 13c, 13d and then is inserted into the other disposing hole astride the connecting portion 13e, so that the raising portion 15d is superimposed on the connecting portion 13e. The front face of the raising portion 15d and the reverse face of the connecting portion 13e are substantially flush with the front face of the flat plate 13a and the reverse face of the discharging lever 15. The discharging lever 15 is turnably supported between the connecting portion 13e and the raising portion 15d, thus pressing out to discharge an IC card 100 by a presser 15c of the discharging lever 15. |
