PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent dew formation by providing a chamber communicating with a vent for introducing outdoor air into a ventilator and constituting an air duct for sucking outdoor air into a fan through the chamber thereby preventing the ventilator body from being cooled directly with outdoor air. SOLUTION: A body 22 molded of synthetic resin comprises a front part 22a and a rear part 22b wherein an air inlet 23 is made at a lower part of the front part 22a and an air outlet 24 is made in the side wall of the lower surface at the rear part 22b. Indoor air is sucked from the air inlet 23 by means of a fan 7 and blown out from the air outlet 24. A chamber 15 is formed at the back face part 22c in the body 22 provided with a vent 25 continuously to the back face part 22c. When the chamber 15 is provided, an air duct is formed from the vent 25 to the air inlet 7a of the fan 7 and the volume of air flowing through the air duct can be regulated by means of a shutter 19, or the like. Consequently, the body 22 is prevented from being cooled to cause dew formation on the surface or the inner surface. |
