PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating device having stable heating operation. SOLUTION: A microwave oven of a heating device is equipped with a heater 8, magnetron 9, and an intra-chamber lamp 10 for a heating chamber. These are driven under control by respective drive parts 5, 6, 7, which are connected with ports A0, A1, A2, respectively, of a control part 1. When the magnetron 9 is in nonactuation, the port A1 of the control part 1 is fed with a signal at Hi level, unless the terminal of the port A1 is shortcircuited to other terminal. When the magnetron 9 is in nonatuation, the control part 1 checks the input signal to the port A1 for checking whether. the terminal of the port A1 is shortcircuited to other terminal.
