PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent performance from being deteriorated due to increment in the number of parts and scatter in the characteristics of parts by processing outputs from an AGC circuit for supplying right and left output sound signals from an analog mixing circuit by a digital stereophonic conversion processing circuit. SOLUTION: Right and left sound signals R3, L3 from an analog mixing circuit are supplied to an analog AGC circuit and automatically controlled to a level optimum to a post circuit and the automatically controlled signals are supplied to an A/D converter, which converts these analog signals into digital right and left sound signals R5, L5. These digital right and left sound signals R5, L5 are supplied to a digital stereophonic conversion processing circuit, to which directivity control signals are supplied from a terminal t, to execute digital stereophonic operation processing. The digital right and left sound signals R6, L6 processed by digital stereophonic conversion processing are supplied to digital recording system signal processing circuit, which executes the compression processing or the like of a color video signal outputted from a video camera.
