PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of judging the position of a failure point on lines constituting a network correctly and immediately. SOLUTION: A plurality of detection stations R0-R5 are dispersedly arranged on lines to detect failure signals propagated on the lines from a failure point F respectively. A calculation station S corrects the detection time differences of the failure signals between the detection stations R0-R5 based on the arrival time differences of radio waves propagated in the air to the detection stations R0-R5 from a radio station and automatically calculates the position of the failure point F based on the corrected detection time differences and the lengths of the lines between the detection stations R0-R5.
